Job Summary:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base for material handling equipment, including EOT cranes, Goliath cranes, and goods lifts. This role requires a deep understanding of the industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:

    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve organizational goals.

    • Identify new market opportunities and customer segments.

    • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

    • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.

    • Address customer concerns promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels.

  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead and mentor the sales team to enhance performance.

    • Set clear objectives and conduct regular performance reviews.

    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture.

  • Sales Operations:

    • Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals.

    • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.

    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Product Knowledge & Training:

    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all products and services offered.

    • Provide training and support to the sales team on product features and benefits.

    • Stay updated on industry developments and technological advancements.


Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

    • MBA or equivalent is a plus.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in material handling equipment or a related industry.

    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

    • Experience in managing and developing a sales team.

  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to analyze market data and make informed decisions.

    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.


Preferred Attributes:

  • Familiarity with the technical aspects of EOT cranes, Goliath cranes, and goods lifts.

  • Established network within the manufacturing and construction industries.

  • Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
