Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Documentation Preparation:

Prepare and verify export documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.

Ensure accuracy and compliance with international shipping regulations and customer requirements.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure all documentation meets legal and regulatory requirements for exports.

Stay updated on changes in export laws and regulations.

Coordination:

Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to ensure timely and accurate documentation.

Liaise with internal departments such as sales, finance, and logistics for smooth operations.

Shipment Tracking:

Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.

Address and resolve any documentation issues that may arise during transit.

Record Maintenance:

Maintain organized records of all export documentation and correspondence.

Prepare reports on shipment status and documentation compliance.

Qualifications:

Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.

Experience:

2–5 years of experience in export documentation, preferably in the material handling equipment industry.

Skills:

Proficiency in export documentation procedures and international trade regulations.

Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.

Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

Familiarity with documentation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Attributes:

Knowledge of INCOTERMS and international payment methods.

Experience with customs clearance procedures and documentation.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
