Design & Estimation Engineer – Electrical Panels

Salary: ₹3.00 LPA – ₹6.00 LPA (Based on experience & skills)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Design & Estimation Engineer with hands-on experience in designing and estimating LT electrical panels such as APFC, AMF, PCC, MCC, and Feeder Panels. The ideal candidate should have sound technical knowledge of electrical components, standards, and panel manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed designs, GA drawings, SLDs, and BOQs for LT panels (APFC, AMF, PCC, MCC, feeder panels).

Analyze client requirements, tender specifications, and load details for proper sizing and component selection.

Create cost estimations and quotations based on panel design and project scope.

Coordinate with the sales team to provide technical support and optimize costing.

Liaise with vendors for material specifications and price updates.

Ensure design compliance with IS/IEC standards and customer requirements.

Review and finalize drawings before release to production.

Support client discussions and technical clarifications.
Candidate Requirements:

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. in Electrical Engineering.

Experience: 2 to 6 years in design & estimation of LT control panels.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design tools.

Sound understanding of switchgear components (ABB, Siemens, L&T, Schneider, etc.).

Good knowledge of panel manufacturing practices and layouts.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
