Job Summary:

The Export Documentation Executive is responsible for preparing and managing all export-related documentation for material handling equipment, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and facilitating smooth shipment processes.Superworks+1Your AI Recruiter for end-to-end Hiring+1


Key Responsibilities:

  • Documentation Preparation:

    • Prepare and verify export documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.

    • Ensure accuracy and compliance with international shipping regulations and customer requirements.

  • Regulatory Compliance:

    • Ensure all documentation meets legal and regulatory requirements for exports.

    • Stay updated on changes in export laws and regulations.

  • Coordination:

    • Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to ensure timely and accurate documentation.

    • Liaise with internal departments such as sales, finance, and logistics for smooth operations.

  • Shipment Tracking:

    • Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.

    • Address and resolve any documentation issues that may arise during transit.

  • Record Maintenance:

    • Maintain organized records of all export documentation and correspondence.

    • Prepare reports on shipment status and documentation compliance.


Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.

  • Experience:

    • 2–5 years of experience in export documentation, preferably in the material handling equipment industry.

  • Skills:

    • Proficiency in export documentation procedures and international trade regulations.

    • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.

    • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

    • Familiarity with documentation software and Microsoft Office Suite.


Preferred Attributes:

  • Knowledge of INCOTERMS and international payment methods.

  • Experience with customs clearance procedures and documentation.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
